This most popular and best known of African marimba bands has been performing together for over 15 years. They began on the streets of Langa, a township of Cape Town, South Africa. And played with handmade drums, shakers and marimbas and later collected instruments from all over Africa. Their skills now include the mastery of numerous African Instruments which have enabled them to explore their own musical heritage. On this release they added more female voices to their recordings. This 5th album is a fantastic cross-cultural musical adventure.
