The Antarcticans are a five piece instrumental-attack-noise group formed in the crawlspace of a California art-house movie theatre. Like the volatile Antarctic terrain, they create dynamic soundscapes that are at times broad and searing, and at times close and comforting. This second release by The Antarcticans is two multi chaptered stories, "Infinite Forced Labor in the Mines of Heaven" and "The Ghosts of Trees of a Thousand Stumps". The Antarcticans have been touring side by side with the likes of Kinski, Dead Meadow and Acid Mothers Temple.
