Blowin' It At Ya

Atomic Sherpas

Blowin' It At Ya
The Atomic Sherpas are a twisted groove machine that have invited comparison to Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart and Tower of Power on mushrooms. Vince Meghrouni is a member of Fatso Jetson, playing sax and harmonica, and brings his rock credentials to The Atomic Sherpas, the psychedelic punk funk horn band he leads. Inviting comparisons to Frank Zappa and "Mahavishnu with horns and a sense of humor", their first release is "Blowin' It At Ya" - a live record recorded at L.A.'s Union Station, that shows the stirrings of what would become what Barry Smolin of 90.7 KPFK calls "One of the best bands in Los Angeles".
