"Wanderlust" served as the fourth single from the Icelandic iconoclast's seventh full-length studio album, Volta. This 2008 release offers up the Mark Stent mix and instrumental of the track plus remixes by Matthew Herbert and Ratatat. Bjork described "Wanderlust" as being the heart of Volta, and "the state of looking for something and almost knowing you're never going to find it" ultimately making you hunger for "something new".
