Blood Buddies, formed Fall of 2011 (made up of Rachel Lynch and Susan Raygoza), are a band recently relocated to Portland, Oregon from Los Angeles, California. The group's sound is best described as pagan punk played proudly and properly, covering a wide-ranged slew of personal social (and some political) topics. Blood Buddies released a self-titled 7" on the DIY fanzine Razorcake's own label, last June. Shortly after, the band got back into the studio (with new drummer, Aaron Edge, backing Rachel's vocal and guitar duties) to recorded two new tracks entitled "Tree & Bird"! Recorded and mixed at Magma Phonic Studios in Los Angeles, CA October 2012 by Christian Townsend. Mastered by Tad Doyle at Witch Ape Studio in Seattle, WA November 2012.
