This is tribute to old school US HC (the early Dischord style) and Henry Rollins early work at the same time!! Back in 1980 Rollins lived in Washington dc and sang for local HC heroes State of Alert. After releasing the classic 10 song 7" ("No Policy") on Washington Dischord records and contributing 3 tracks to the labels legendary "Flex your head" compilation, Rollins moved to Los Angeles and joined Black Flag on vocals while remaining State Of Alert members found Faith and later on Embrace. Eurocore kings Brightside discovered State Of Alerts material a while ago and recorded the bands discography of 13 songs in order to pay tribute to the real roots of hardcore punk.
