Damon Johnson is a founding member of Brother Cane and has toured the world as the guitarist for legends Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy. Just when he thought all of his musical dreams had come true, in early 2021, Damon was asked to fill in for the legendary guitarist and founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a position he still holds to this day. Brother Cane was formed by singer/guitarist Damon Johnson and bassist Glenn Maxey. They released three studio albums and several charting singles, including three number 1's and five top 10 hits. Their debut album, Brother Cane (1993), peaked at #14 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Seeds (1995) yielded the #1 Rock track "And Fools Shine On," which led to a lengthy and successful tour in support of Van Halen. Their final release, Wishpool (1998), brought Brother Cane another #1 song at Rock Radio, "I Lie in the Bed I Make." Brother Cane has 56,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their album Wishpool recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. The aforementioned #1 song, "I Lie in the Bed I Make," is also the band's fifth most popular song on Spotify. This album has never been released on vinyl before. It is a Universal Music Group/Virgin Records release that has been officially licensed with the complete support of the band. There are 1,500 units available worldwide on Silver Cane-colored vinyl with a marketing hype sticker on the front containing album information.
