Belgium's Buzz (J-C Van Thienen) released one album in 1985, only on cassette in a limited run. J-C witnessed the punk explosion in the UK while studying and working abroad in England. He regularly saw Adam & the Ants, and Siouxsie, Spizzenergi and The Cure among others. He started composing songs applying the DIY punk ethos, combining new wave dance floor appeal with abrasive textures and the irreverent attitude of post-punk. The overall sound of "See You Sioux" fits nicely alongside Neon Judgement and Trisome 21. Each LP include a fold-out, double sided insert with photos, lyrics and liner notes by Anne Clark. Fully remastered by George Horn at Fantasy studios in Berkeley.
