Spaceship Colour Haze breathlessly dives through alien galaxies, acting as a wormhole, warping space, mirroring time, all the while residing in itself at the center of its own universe. A jewel sparkling in rainbow colors, ready for new adventures. On their 14th studio album, the trio manages to completely enchant the listener once again. It's not Colour Haze's way of resting in their nest, the band is always open to new things and have traveled to the most inhospitable parts of the universe to discover new life, get to know alien life forms, make friends with them and to bundle insights, impressions and emotions in wonderful songs. Based on years of experience as musicians, Colour Haze build their seven new pieces on Sacred even more complex and with particularly fine musical finesse, apart and back together. In addition, singer and guitarist Stefan Koglek is now working even more intensively on his lyrics and stages them brilliantly with more and more sophisticated melodies that have never been heard from Colour Haze in this form before. After 23 years, the band separated from bassist Philipp Rasthofer in 2021, but in Mario Oberpucher, a long-time companion of the band, they got an absolutely worthy successor on bass, who makes his grandiose studio debut with Colour Haze here on Sacred. Some might therefore define Sacred as a kind of restart, others might see it as a continuous development. Either way, Sacred is definitely another highlight in Colour Haze's discography!
