Drenched in a thick layer of Rasta vibes, 'Feast' unites the rhythmic zeal of their Lee Perry produced classics with a modernistic tilt that belies the sunny disposition of those involved - with the likes of 'Gods Kingdom', 'Heaven Rejoice' and 'Going To A Party' all steeped in Cedric Myton's idiosyncratic style. Pockmarked throughout by the honey-tones of Brent Dowe (of Melodians fame), political statements such as those of 'Some A Thief' and 'Watch & Pray' are coated in enough blue-sky sentiment to reduce the chances of polemical hectoring, and turn it instead into a sage chat on a sun-blanched beach. Hot stuff!
