The Killer album, originally released in 1971 on Warner Bros., followed up Cooper's first major commercial success with
the Love It To Death album which was picked up by Warner Bros. and re-released...Killer began the collaboration with
producer Bob Ezrin who is seen as instrumental in developing the Coopers definitive sound going forward. Cooper has
drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a very theatrical and violent brand of heavy
metal designed to shock.
