Mute are excited to announce the signing of Alessandro Cortini and the release of his new album, VOLUME MASSIMO, on transparent turquoise vinyl, CD, and digital. Each format will have its own version of the album art. In his solo work and as a member of Nine Inch Nails, Alessandro Cortini's music casts the listener into an intricately rendered vortex of emotive dynamics, where he expertly maximizes the boundaries of contemporary electronic music. VOLUME MASSIMO, combines his fondness for melody with the rigor of experimental practice. It follows on from 2017's universally acclaimed album Avanti. This new record is eight tracks of deftly arranged synthesizers saturated with sonic artifacts and luscious pop sensibilities. Cortini will tour the US in late 2019 into 2020.
