Reissuing the long yet not forgotten Country Rockers' debut, 'Free Range Chicken', originally released in 1988 on the
French label New Rose Records. Ron Easley produced the thirteen-song album, recorded at his younger brother Dougs
four-track Easley Recording Studio. Despite being in their 70s and 80s, the Country Rockers were heralded as main stays
and at the epicenter of Memphis rock and punk rock in the 1990s. Memphis author Robert Gordon touted the Country Rockers
in the pages of Spin Magazine and in his fantastic history of Memphis music, "It Came from Memphis".
