Disturbed Furniture
Disturbed Furniture 'Continuous Pleasures', an integral part of the vibrant arts and music scene that animated the storied downtown NYC venue Club 57 (1978-1983) home to Keith Haring and Jean Michel Basquiat and Kenny Scharf, who did the cover artwork here. In the early 80s, DF made a 45, opened for many distinguished local and British bands including the GoGo's, the Psychedelic Furs, the Stranglers, Sector 27, The Waitresses, Lydia Lunch, toured around the east coast, and were even asked to open for The Clash at Bonds in NYC. This is a pleasing example of the more melodic side of the downtown rock scene that catapulted New Wave into the mainstream. First time on vinyl, limited run. High quality 45 RPM pressing and that amazing cover! On Arevarc Records thru Hyperspace Communications.
