Doped Up Dollies, The

The New Way Out

These young hoodlums from the playgrounds of Boston honed in on their stroll sound, by restyling schoolyard rhymes from their hop scotch and double dutch games. For seven years the The Doped Up Dollies sang back-up vocals, in homage to the girl groups of the 60s, for another group of brave musicians who also wanted to developed this new style of music called stroll; those musicians were - Big D and the Kids Table. Big D and the Kids Table and The Doped Up Dollies became inseparable.
