With 1984 Egyptian Lover proved that he wasn't just a relic of the 80s and was still capable of making banging electro tunes, but 1985 makes it even more definitive with another hour of just pure fire. The 1984 kicks go hard, the lyrics are nonsensical as usual and the whole thing is just a blast to listen to. While true there isn't that much progression compared to his 80s stuff, but it's not like were are flooded with throwback electro albums in the past few years so this is definitely welcome. One of the pioneers of the genre and still one of the best to do it, true legend!
