"Silence is Sexy" marks the band's 20 year existence of members Blixa Bargeld (vocals/guitar), Alexander Hacke, Jochen
Arbeit, Rudolf Moser and N.U. Unruh. This double lp includes the bonus track "Pelikanol" never before issued on vinyl.
This album is a musical coming-of-age, from their metal-defying scrap iron sound to constructed melodiousness, with a
familiar rhythmic undertow - playful, arrogant, poetic, subversive, dandified and mature. It clearly breathes the
inimitably rough Neubaten handwriting, while Blixa Bargeld's voice cuts through intellectual and cryptic texts. This
release has been dubbed the band's most complex work to date.
