Dead Set is the culmination of the Fake News sound over the last 8 years. It is an evolution forward into the modern day punk sound that still revisits the 90s So-Cal sound we know Fake News for. They are loading up & no time to waste & it's clear to see they are here to save the human race. As said in Track 1 - Destination. These songs are about grabbing life by the horns & sticking it to the man. They are a form of therapy for most & in some cases revisiting some Emo & heavy roots from the early 00s. There can be no argument that Dead Set is fast paced straight down the line punk. The album delivers bone crunching rhythms & scintillating harmonies amongst the catchy anthemic vocals. The songs were made to play live. They have so much energy & drive it is enough to get you up & punk dancing like its 1996 again.
