Italian reissue. Black vinyl version limited to 200 copies Gatefold cover Continuing the timeline of Far's early discography, Quick is the band's second independent full-length album. Originally recorded on an 8-track recorder in a friend's house and released in 1994, this local success ultimately got them signed to Immortal/Epic Records. It is now available on vinyl for the first time. While Listening Game was chaotic and aggressive, Quick is the album where Far truly discovered their signature formula: a distinct blend of melodic and sludgy elements. Listeners frequently compare Jonah Matranga's vocal performance here to a cross between Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Rivers Cuomo (Weezer)balancing vulnerable, catchy indie-rock hooks with throat-shredding, heavy alt-metal dynamics.
