From the home of ultimate rock'n'roll, FIREPOWER is yet another Australian band that follows in the footsteps of the likes of AC/DC and ROSE TATTOO. Death Comes Quick began as an online project between Alistair White (MARCHING ORDERS, RAZORCUT) and Bevynn Wilkerson (THE CORPS, RUST, BLACK BALL) with only the intention to write a few songs and hit the studio for fun. The ideas and resulting songs turned out so good that this project quickly developed into a full-length album. Taking influence from the aforementioned Aussie rockers AC/DC and ROSE TATOO as well as MOTORHEAD and Al and Bevynns life-long love of rock'n'roll, Death Comes Quick is a roller coaster ride from the fast aggressive title track to piano ballads like Watchers In The Sky. Not long after the writing of this album it was decided this band was too good to stop there, so a full line-up was assembled and FIREPOWER now has 20+ gigs under their belts, with rousing receptions from audiences all over Melbourne and surrounding areas.
