Los Angeles' Foxygen release their 2nd album, a breathtaking fresh air of rebellious confidence. Foxygen can certainly be added to the list of those who have done it right (Cults, Tame Impala, Dr. Dog), providing their own unique spin on the bluesy, raw sounds of the Velvet Underground. For a duo, the band emote heavily, and lead vocalist Sam France, does plenty of talk-singing and channeling his best inner Lou Reed.
