Fuller
Fuller E.p.
With their debut EP, Fuller prove that you don't need much to make great rock music just instinct, attitude, and a bit
of courage to keep things simple. The setup is classic: drums, bass, guitar, vocals. But what emerges is far more than
the sum of its parts. The songs are short, direct, and packed with subtle details that reveal themselves with each
listen.
The band deliberately avoids unnecessary effects or sprawling arrangements instead, they lean into a raw, honest sound
that evokes DIY rehearsal rooms and hazy late-summer nights. Tracks like "Mew" celebrate the small joys of everyday
life, while "The Nix" dives into deeply personal moments of loss and reflection without slipping into cliché.
It's this contrast between lightness and weight, between playful energy and thoughtful melancholy, that gives the record
its charm. The guitar often takes on a lead narrative role, weaving in and out with melodic curiosity, while the bass
and drums provide a tight, driving foundation. The EP was produced together with Christian Bethge, whose sensitivity for
sound and atmosphere adds an extra layer of depth to the record.
Fuller don't need big stages to leave a lasting impression - they're more at home in the rehearsal space, where
everything sounds real and nothing feels staged. And that's exactly what makes them stand out.
