Originally released in 1978, Cats Under The Stars was the first album to officially acknowledge the Jerry Garcia Band, comprised of Garcia, Keith & Donna Godchaux, John Kahn, and Ron Tutt, by name. Garcia-Hunter penned gems including "Rubin and Cherise," "Gomorrah" and the album's title track anchor what Garcia considered his finest solo studio record. This 2018 re-issue was re-mastered by Fred Kevorkian and pressed to 180-gram vinyl by Quality Record Pressings.
