Some might call Gascoine's music Stoner rock, others might prefer the sticker metal or pot-smoker or desert rock, but in the end, this isn't of any importance. What really counts is the fact that Gascoine is deep, intense and heavy. Like a steam-roller, the four piece levels the ruins of Black Sabbath, Malfunkshun, Agnostic Front and Saint Vitus to some new holy ground, where their bitter-sweet musical flowers grow.
