Part of the vinyl Verve collections, the Stan Getz boxed set contains a selection of each artist's best-loved albums on 180-gram vinyl in sleeves that replicate the original artwork. Stan Getz was an American jazz saxophonist. Getz performed in bebop and cool jazz groups. Influenced by Joao Gilberto and Antônio Carlos Jobim, he popularized bossa nova in America with the hit single "The Girl from Ipanema" (1964).
