Eighteen years after the release of their international version of the "LIBIDO EP" under the American label phat'n'phunky phonics, Ging Nang Boyz is set to release a new international edition. This record, which incorporates the entirety of Ging Nang Boyz's career, reimagines their best works and will be released by the Los Angeles-based punk and indie label Lauren Records. In 2021, Ging Nang Boyz released the theme song "Shonen Shojo" for the TV anime series Sonny Boy. Amid the growing popularity of Japanese music abroad, this song has reignited international attention toward the band. This release includes "Shonen Shojo" alongside the unreleased track "Nikaisen", a version different from the original single. The album cover features artwork by Jesse Michaels, the legendary vocalist of the iconic punk band OPERATION IVY.
