Glös began as a collaboration between Keeley Davis and Cornbread Compton, both former members of Engine Down. Because they were living in different cities at opposite ends of the country - Davis in Richmond, VA and Compton in Los Angeles, CA - the songs were developed on computer, with the pair swapping files back and forth through the internet. After completing 20 songs, Davis and Compton decided to invite Keeley's sister, Maura (former frontwoman of Denali), to join the project and to add her beautiful, sultry vocals to music that already seemed perfect for her.
