Joy on a South American jaunt a few years prior. Though the ten duets here muse plainly on failed romances and the
ensuing emotional turmoil, they take on a surprisingly gentle, matter-of-fact tone. Built on breezy melodies and
strummed guitars that are accented by subtle synth-work, the record highlights the duo's admiration for each others'
work, making for compelling repeated listening.
