Get the Guests is the most talked about record in the High Strung's still expanding canon. The variety of songs and styles creates a quilt of colors the band has called "adventure rock." Most of the lyrics, bass and drum parts were arranged before entering the studio but a handful of tracks were performed for the first time during these sessions.
