Hombres G
Voy a pasármelo bien is the name of the fifth studio album by the Spanish rock band Hombres G. It was recorded in the summer of 1989 at the Torres Sonido and Eurosonic studios in Madrid, Spain and at the Air Studios in London, England. It was released by Warner Music Spain in 1989 and produced by Chilean Carlos Narea and Nigel Walker. Among the list of collaborators in the recording of the album are names such as Juan Muro, José Carlos Parada, Sergio Castillo, Fernando Illán, Bosco da Silva, Santiago Reyes and José Antonio Romero. At the beginning of the album, a brief version of "Sufre mamón" is heard, with David Summers on guitar and his nephew Pablo Botella on the microphone. Dani Mezquita shares with David the credits for "Chico, tienes que cuidarte" and "México". Juan Muro appears on the credits for "Madrid, Madrid". The singles released were "Voy a pasármelo bien", "Te necesito", and "Chico, tienes que cuidarte". The album was another resounding success in the group's career. In just one week, in Spain it had sold more than 130,000 copies, and later it would reach almost 400,000 units.3 In Mexico it obtained the diamond record for surpassing one million copies sold.
