The Hoodoo Gurus sophomore release is a second helping of wonderfully skewed kitsch-pop confections. While the band's basic m.o. remained the same- '60s-era pop, garage rock, and cowpunk remained key musical reference points -- David Faulkner's skills as a songwriter had grown perceptibly.
