Jennings, Waylon
Live From Austin Texas
Limited edition, premium audiophile, 180 gram remastered vinyl. Waylon recorded live on April 1, 1989 in Austin, Texas.
This was no April Fools Joke, Waylon had just kicked his 20-year drug habit, split with RCA after decades and signed a
new deal with MCA. He re-discovered his passion for songwriting and teamed up with legendary producer, Jimmy Bowen.
Waylon credits his wife Jessi Colter (who duets on this record with Waylon) for much of his inspiration for this very
prolific and inspired period in his life. Waylon Jennings has been described as the leader of the Country "Outlaw"
movement, which he often dismissed as just another marketing scam.
