Jesters of Destiny are back with an album of brand-new music. Following the reunion LP "The Sorrows that Refuse to Drown" (2017), the band kept a-rollin', cranking out the 2020 election lament "Heavy, Kickin' A" and the singles/videos "Your Lord Good God" and "Luxifur," the latter being the world's first heavy metal cat video. (Both are on YouTube of course and all three are on the new LP). The Jesters' legacy dates back to the late '80s when they were signed to Metal Blade Records and issued the cult classic "Fun at the Funeral" and the covers EP "In a Nostalgic Mood." "Fun" has since been reissued twice- CD and later vinyl- by Ektro Records in Finland who continue to release the band's new music. "Distorting Everything" is the group's most straight-ahead hard rock/metal collection, but it's still a Jesters record so there are plenty of surprises and left turns.
