This is Kaia Wilson's fifth solo album, and it contains her most mature songwriting to date. The album features guest musicians Jody Bleyle and Marci Martinez (Team Dresch) on bass/drums, Amanda Lawrence on viola/cello, and Seth Lorinczi on organ and castanets. These recordings were done one at a time in different settings (kitchens, basements, bedrooms, studios). Each song was delicately handled as its own unique creature, never straying from what the composition itself wants.
