KAMALA AND THE KARNIVORES was a regular fixture in the San Francisco Bay Area punk community from 1987 until 1989 when they originally disbanded. The KAMALA AND THE KARNIVORES Girl Band four-song 7" EP was originally released in 1989 on the iconic Lookout! Records. This re-mastered vinyl EP, released by 1986'd Music Industries in 2017, puts this eponymous recording back into circulation. The download card also contains the country-tinged bonus track "29", which is THE KARNIVORES recorded debut that originally appeared on the Lookout! Records compilation, The Thing that Ate Floyd.
