Lucky Luke draws his revolver faster than his shadow and the Koffin Kats play more shows than there are days in a year. Since 2003 they have been up to mischief all over the world and although they seem to be constantly on tour, they have also released 8 albums and a mini-LP. As if that wasn't enough, singer and bassist Vic Victor also sells self-made pickups for double basses (Vic's Pickups), the whole band prints or embroiders merch for themselves and other artists (Industrious Dudes Merchandising), they run a small recording studio (Low Note Studios) and every now and then they post videos where you can see them cleaning some pipes in American front yards with heavy equipment and standing knee-deep in mud. The Koffin Kats are not just a band, they are a family, they are a well-oiled machine running at full speed. Album number 9 is already as good as finished, but before that, the Koffin Kats are finally visiting us in the UK and Europe again for the first time in a long time. This has prompted the band and Ring Of Fire Records to reissue their last regular album Party Time In The End Times on vinyl just in time for Halloween. When the album came out in 2017, it was the first release on the band's own label Koffin Kats Records, they still do that too, haha. However, the LP has been sold out for some time now, so it really was time for a reissue. If you haven't yet had the chance to experience the Koffin Kats with their energetic and sometimes acrobatic live show, you shouldn't miss the chance to see them on the tour starting in November. Everyone who has been there before will go anyway, because the band knows how to create a great community feeling at their shows and how to make the clubs shake with their passionate mix of punk and rock'n'roll. You have to get that much steam as a trio first. Oh yes, they are also very nice and charismatic, so what more could you want? Party Time In The End Times will be released as a limited edition of 500 copies on colored vinyl (with a choice of colors) and a printed inner sleeve.
