Purple vinyl repress. Hoy es el futuro is the eighth album (and twelfth release) by the Spanish group La Polla Records. On this album, the band seeks to return to the sound and themes of the late 1980s. Among them, the title track stands out, which seeks to have a poetic tone similar to the lyrics of the song "Ellos dicen mierda" (They Say Shit, We Amén, from the 1990 album Ellos dicen mierda, nosotros amen). Additionally, on this album, Sumé, the band's rhythm guitarist, contributes more vocals than the rest of the members when accompanying Evaristo. During the tour, the band made its second visit to Latin America, this time performing in Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile.
