The fourth and last single/IG from the October 15th release, Five Legged Dog Background Info -Five Legged Dog is the Melvins first ever acoustic album, featuring 36 songs spanning almost 2 1/2 hours. -"Sway (Acoustic)" is a cover of The Rolling Stones classic track. This version was recorded by the Melvins exclusively for this new release. -Weve already set up cross-promotions with Ultimate Classic Rock for coverage on this track as well as cover mount CDs in European magazines like Visions Germany -The album features their greatest hits performed stripped down, as well as covers by artists such as The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon, Alice Cooper, Braniac and more. -The band are coming off a big year of releases including a new album, Working With God, that has gained over 3MM streams since release in February. -The band also reissued five of their classic albums on vinyl, which sold out of 20,000 copies so far this year. -For the acoustic record, well be rolling out four pre-release single/IGs starting with Night Goat (Acoustic), the original which appeared on their seminal album, Houdini. The original studio version of that track has 5MM streams alone. And the most recent single "Revolve (Acoustic)" is launching Sept 14th and is one of the bands most popular tracks with the studio version from Stoner Witch having 15MM+ streams.
