Third Man release featuring 5 unheard, unreleased tracks from German-based band THE MONKS. Considered "one of the strangest stories in rock history" THE MONKS are American G.I.s who stayed in Germany after their discharge. Band has only ever released one album and several singles. The recordings are mastered directly from original analog tapes by Georgetown Mastering. Liner notes by Monks bassist Eddie Shaw and the artwork includes previously unseen color photos of band.
