Thanks to Craig Stewart for originally releasing this album and for always believing in me: without your faith and
goodness this record wouldn't exist, and neither would any of the other ones that came after it. Craig originally sent
out the promos with pages from a very old Texas road atlas enclosed; only one person ever noticed or said anything about
it. To the best of my knowledge none of these promos have ever been spotted in the wild, making them the most elusive
piece of Mountain Goats ephemera known. Thanks to Merge for restoring this record to a place in the actual physical
world, and to Brent Lambert at the Kitchen for being the mastering engineer to whom all other mastering engineers must
be compared. Thanks to Alex Newport for the original tape transfer and to John Vanderslice for facilitating it. Thanks
to Alyson West at Ravenhouse for navigating the channels that make this release possible. Thanks, finally, from the
