1970s Desertshore, like much of Nicos early work, has grown in stature with the passing of time. Hardly a pop album, the material stands alongside Chelsea Girl as some of her most accessible work, winning fans as diverse as Throbbing Gristle, Morrissey, Marc Almond, and Bjork. Audio has been re-mastered from the original tapes.
