Nixon, Jerry J

Gentleman Of Rock'n'roll

Jerry J. Nixon died at the end of 1999 and here is his first full length album, full of 50's Rock'n'Roll! He was a fantastic song writer and a one of the greatest unknown heroes of Rock'n'Roll. Born in the UK, then moved to the USA in the mid 50's and recorded several non classic Rock'n'Roll platters for Q records in New Mexico, toured around the USA, and never made it back to Europe again, stopped playing music and died as a broken man in 1999. 14 Rock'n'Roll songs, wild Rockabilly and some Ballads too, from one of the most forgotten Rock'n'Roll heroes from the 50's...
