OVTRENOIR is a post metal band from Paris, France. Their latest album 'Fields of Fire' will be released through Consouling Sounds on the 23rd of October. Initiated by William Lacalmontie (guitar / vocals) in 2013 as an instrumental acoustic post-rock project, the line up consists of long-time close friends Julien Taubregeas (The Great Divide), Angeline Seguelas, joined by Dehn Sora (Treha Sektori / Throane) in 2015. Now adding Olivier Dubuc (ex The Last Embrace) as a fifth live member and after about 20 shows in Europe (France, Belgium, Spain, Russia, Netherlands) including Roadburn festival in 2019, they can fully transcribe that heaviness on stage. As a first album, 'Fields of Fire' takes further the journey that OVTRENOIR began with a monolithic Ep followed by a single track reaching for more melody.
