Powell has been going from strength to strength lately. A fantastic Dbl CD collection of his previous 12" has just been released on his own Diagonal label and now there is this new 12" for XL Recordings. Both tracks were featured in this great mix Powell did for Rinse FM. The A-side "Sylvester Stallone" is the opening track and "Smut" closes the set. Both tracks have one foot on the dance floor and the other in a harsher realm: Incessant, abrasive and absolutely entrancing.
