From the first second, the album crushes you with a fast, dirty, and unadorned sound. The bass rumbles as if recorded in a cave, the guitar slashes without technique but with fury, and Karlos's voice spits out each line with genuine disdain, without posing. RIP didn't want to be liked. RIP wanted to kick you in the face. The lyrics are a reflection of their context: a Basque Country under surveillance, beaten down, and politicized. Songs like "Brigada Criminal" and "Odio mi patria" are open declarations of war. "Enamorado de la muerte" is pure suburban nihilism.
