Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Marcos Roberto Dias Cardoso began his musical career around the Jovem Guarda movement of the mid-1960s, heavily influenced by the "British Invasion." His solo career took off in 1966, with a long career as a melodic pop artist and ballad composer. However, in 1971, moving away somewhat from his style, he left us these two gems that have remained hidden for a long time: "O Prisioneiro," a tremendous mid-tempo psychedelic track, and "Quem Pôs Tanta Coisa Em Sua Cabeça," a true pop gem with a delicious melody that transports us to other worlds.
