Amália da Piedade Rebordao Rodrigues GCSE, GCIH, better known as Amália Rodrigues or popularly as Amália, was a Portuguese fadista. She was known as the 'Rainha do Fado' and was instrumental in popularising fado worldwide and travelled internationally throughout her career.
