Japanese garage punk/power pop/trash 'n' roll band formed in 1990 and disbanded on May 20th, 2017. They were originally
called The Longhairs but renamed the same year.
Supersnazz played their first show at Back From The Grave, a prominent live event series of Tokyo underground garage
punk scene. They released their first EP "Groove In!" within a year of the band's formation, followed by the first U.S.
tour with American Soul Spiders in February 1992 and signing to Sub Pop Records. The debut album "Superstupid!" was
released in 1993 with Kurt Bloch from The Fastbacks producing it.
