Icelandic group formed in Reykjavk September 1981, Tappi Tkarrass was a short-lived project that is perhaps best known
as being the first serious music project of now-renowned singer Bjork Guomundsdottir (aka BJORK, who was only in her mid
teens at the time). Coming out of the punk movement Tappi Tkarrass combined elements of funk, disco and jazz.
