Texas Is The Reason
Reissue of the band's 7" as an expanded 12". Includes 8-page, full-color booklet featuring never-before-seen photos, flyers, and more. Features updated cover art with obi spine strips. All tracks mastered by Vlado Meller (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, JEFF BUCKLEY, WEEZER). Includes bonus track "Something To Forget (Version I)". TEXAS IS THE REASON's self-titled TX30 Special Edition 12" EP is the first of three upcoming releases that mark the 30th anniversary of the band and its landmark album, Do You Know Who You Are?. It includes the bonus track "Something to Forget (Version I)" which was originally released in 1995 on a limited split 7" with SAMUEL. "Something to Forget (Version II)" went on to be included on 1996's Do You Know Who You Are? with a more polished production, thanks to J. Robbins (JAWBOX) producing the album. These TX30 Special Edition pressings will chart the band's three chronological stages across three intentionally-prepared 12-inch records - from their earliest recordings to their debut album to the band's final three songs, written for and originally conceived as the beginning of a second album that was never completed before their 1997 breakup. Each release will include expanded art and booklets featuring never-before-seen photos, flyers, and other means of telling the band's story. The three releases will be joined by specially designed obi strips, devised to create a visually cohesive set.
